Our family’s favorite pizza place in town. We love that the flour is not bromated and that they are so friendly! Mama Lou’s is our go to!
B&L, George's and Basil's are pretty much the same square cut pizzeria. If you've been to one, you've been to all three. Edited to 5 stars after 13 years in nfld, Best pie in town
I am sincerely appreciative and impressed with the service I received here yesterday. I came in after my wedding reception with a group of 12, right before closing. I could tell they were already very busy and it couldn’t have been easy to serve all of us. We were served by the owner and it seemed like he may have been working alone. He handled the stress with so much class. He was very kind to us and really made the end of our night special. The pizza was incredibly delicious, including the gluten free and dairy free pizzas we ordered, which is not something many pizza places do well. I highly recommend this pizza!
I had the sausage and sauerkraut pizza with extra cheese was absolutely delicious. I grew up on places in St.paul like Reds Savoy and Mama's Pizza so it takes a lot to win me over. Staff was very friendly as well. I just moved to Northfield a year ago and this is favorite pizza in Northfield

Today was the first time I had pizza from B&L. I got the bee sting pizza on regular crust. It has pepperoni, ricotta cheese, red pepper flakes, basil, and a drizzle of hot honey. Talk about a party in my mouth! It was just the right amount of heat, just a hint of sweetness from the honey, and great zesty, tangy sauce. I highly recommend this particular pizza. B&L is take out only. My wife got the gluten-free crust with sausage, onions, and mushrooms, and she said the gluten-free crust is much better than the ones she got from Domino's.
Great food, friendly staff. Came for lunch and had gyros and wraps. The pizza is awesome when we've gotten it. Great spot downtown to meet.
Piping hot pizza and nice patio atmosphere. I got the B&L special, but they have many options to choose from. Though for the day I visited (Saturday) they didn’t have fountain drinks (free refills) nor dine-in inside. You have to order 20oz. bottles, but I didn’t mind; the pizza’s really good and an essential stop if you’re craving pizza in Northfield.
My co-workers and I order often. While everything we order is amazing, the staff are top notch! They pass by the guys in the shop just to bring it to the ladies in the office who they know are always the one to order. :) Highly recommend!
